It's based on the idea that there's no point in paying for ads that are shown to people who have nothing to do with your geographic location. A visitor to this website must enter a Florida zip code to gain access to the site. If they enter one of the zip codes that you have "purchased", we show your large banner ad to the visitor on most pages of the website that the visitor goes to. (only one divorce lawyer banner per page)

You pay according to how many times your zip codes are entered. (35 cents each time one of your zip codes is entered - call us about our maximum price guarantee so that you don't have to worry about paying for excessive hits) If there are no hits from your zip codes in a billing cycle, you are not billed. Bar Rule Info
Counsel for Florida Divorce Online Inc. states that Florida Bar rule 4-7.8 and 4-7.2(c)(11) indicates that you do not have to submit an ad to the Bar for approval as long as it simply contains your name, address, phone and field of practice, ie like a phone book listing. (and there are some other items the rule says that you can include in your ad without triggering the need to submit it for approval) In making this observation Florida Divorce Online Inc. is not offering an opinion as to whether your listing on this site will comply with the bar rules, or whether it needs to be submitted to the bar for approval.
